Baby Ann 5th Month Checkup

hey hey.. today is a good day! My boss approve my 1 day leave, and yes.. i bring my little girl to the 5th month checkup. I was not turn up myself to see doctor Khoo for 2 months and she keep asking my MIL... where is Annabelle mummy.. so.. Taaaa Daa... she finally get to see me today.

As usual, we need to wait for the long que to see doctor khoo, before that Baby Ann is being weight, at 4 months and 3 weeks old... , she weight 7.2kg, 63cm height. Quite a good achievement.. keep up the good job, my little girl!

After 1 hour ++ of waiting, finally is our turn. When baby Ann see doctor, she start mumbling and gurgles.. i think she is saying HI to her doctor, and she make doctor khoo laugh. Doctor said my little girl is very friendly.. OMG... i think she is talkative rather than friendly!! Doctor said Baby Ann is fine, everything is on the right track, but she did mention that baby Ann weight is a bit over average, but still acceptable. And she is consider quite high. Doctor gave Baby Ann her 3rd DTP jap.. and out of expectation, baby Ann dint cry, doctor said that is because the mummy which is me is presented today, which made baby Ann turn up to be a good girl. After the jap, doctor gave baby Ann the rotavirus oral injection. This round, baby Ann cried a bit, i think she dont like the tatse of the medicine. After the checkup, when we made ourself out of the doctor room, baby Ann smile again, she smile with doctor, i think she wanna say bye bye to doctor.

After the checkup, we bring baby Ann go home because she look so tired.. so... thats my day with baby Ann!

Happy Dumpling Festival!

I Have been quite busy lately. Bad news is I am down to flu again.. sigh.. must be the stupid weather make me sick again.
I almost forgot that today is dumpling festival until early morning, my colleague bring me a big dumpling and said is boss treats. Haha.. yeah.. its quite big and yummy too.
When I was busy doing my work, my mum called and told me that she and dad will drop by my office to pass me some dumplings. At first, I don’t feel anything until the moment I see my mum reach my office and pass me the dumplings.. I can see that she is so sincere and so purposely drop by for just passing me the 2 yummy dumplings. I feel so touch at that moment as some memory start to flow into my mind.. every year during dumpling festival, mum sure provide me a lot of dumpling at home cause she know I like it. Not only that, our family will celebrate this festival and have dinner together.
But this year, I am so busy with my work, my baby…until I forgot today is dumpling festival.. and I am no longer staying with mum and dad. How nice if tonight we can have a family dinner again. OMG!! My tears almost coming out. Suddenly feel so touch about it. Anyway.. hope everybody have a wonderful dumpling festival!

4 Months Old

Guess What.. I am 4 months old! I have learned a new skill! I’ve successfully rolled over on my tummy without any help for the first time. Actually I have been practicing it for the pass few weeks. It’s quite challenging but was fun to roll over on my tummy. On that morning, mummy was stunned but very happy to see me flipped over for the first time. Mummy managed to capture few photos.

But I haven’t have chance to show my daddy the new stunt that I have learned. So, I decided to not sleep so early at night and wait for daddy. Mummy put me on my bed and missing in no where wer.. and haha.. I see daddy.. I think its time to show off! I flipped over on my bed with giggling sound.. yeah.. I managed to attract daddy attention. And guess what, again daddy capture photos of me again! Hehehe..

What's Wrong With My Baby

Baby Ann is almost 4 months old now. You all must be thinking that I can have better sleep now. No! Baby Ann becomes a difficult baby when come to feeding time. She refuses to take milk! Colic? 4 months still have colic? I suspect something wrong with her stomach. When ever she sees the milk bottle, she will cry and push away the bottle! OMG… the feeding time will somehow drag from 15 minutes to 30 or 45 minutes. She used to drink 5oz milk, but now mostly she just can take 4oz sometimes drop to 3oz. I could do nothing but just let her fall in deep sleep, then only feed her. And this tactic temporary still work. I feel so stressed. I do not know what happen to my baby. Due to lack of sleep, I fall in sick last week.

For the past few weeks, Baby Ann learns quite a lot of new things, like:

-Shout out loud, REAL LOUD when she needs our attention.

-“Talk” a lot! Make a lot of noise!

- When I scold her, she will make a pity face and cried out loud… With tear! What a drama queen.

- Play with her toy which is her hand.

-Trying to turn over, not yet success to turn over by herself, but almost there.
