Am I A Bad Mom?

I’ve been reading lots of mommies’ blogs. These mommies posted about the food they cooked and the types of food introduced to their babies. They really took the effort creating new recipes and experimenting new types of food to cook for their little ones. I am thinking by the time Ann is ready for solid food, will I do that as those mommies as well? I wonder… as I seldom cook, not even for my dear hubby.

MIL is baby-sit baby Ann at night all the while from day one Ann came to this world. Each time I pass baby Ann to MIL at night, I feel I am a bad mom, may be baby Ann need me somewhere at midnight but I just stay in my dreamland. Real feel bad about that. Perhaps I should start take over baby Ann at night during weekend.

Mother’s day is around the corner. This year, I not only celebrate mother’s day with my own mummy, but my MIL and also the precious gift that I gave myself – Baby Ann. Yup… I am mother also.. cant believe that, time pass so fast, last year mother’s day, baby Ann was just a tiny little thing is my womb.

Practicing new skill

Woohooo... today mummy seem quite tired, daddy is not around, mummy just put me on the bed and she sleep sleep already. Its ok, nevermind.. I can play play by myself. Hahhhh… I think I should practice my turn over skill since I have a big space here. Mummy always put me in my cot and there is not enough space for me to play turn over. At the same time, I have developed my talking skill .. come come..its show off time... remember to turn on your speaker oohh, else you can't hear me.. ^.^

Hello Saturday!

Saturday.. a hot Saturday. So hubby and I decided to bring baby Ann out instead of stay in a stuffy aircond room for whole day. Yeah.. we bring baby Ann go shopping as I need to buy something, and I just notice that I din shop for 1 whole month already. Can you believe that? Haha..

As usual, baby Ann is sleeping soundly from house to shopping mall. The best part is I get to shop for my things, while hubby is taking care of the sleeping baby. Women always doing well in shopping, within an hour, I have finished shop for my stuffs and for sure, I bought something for baby Ann also. Just by the time I finished buying everything, baby Ann is awake. Hehe.. everything timed so well. Then we hang around for a while to wait for hubby’s friend join us for dinner, ya, so fast.. its dinner time.

Thought of pay a visit to Sakae Sushi, from the moment I pregnant until now baby Ann is almost 4 months old, I just eat once. I dare not to eat sushi, cause pregnant cannot eat raw food ma..
But but but… there is a long queue outside Sakae sushi.. sigh.. So, we head to another place.. haha.. hubby and friend decided to go TGI Fridays.. ermm.. its not a bad idea also.

My Life

Life has been very busy lately. Busy for career, baby Ann, hubby and house work. Pheww.. feeling a bit exhausted. Boss pulled back my annual leave application and delay it until further notice. I am thinking my 7 days carry forward annual leave will just burn like that loo.. what to do? And the worst case is I need to work every Saturday. OMG!! What decade am I living at?

Suddenly my world became so grey.. no colors.. no taste…no plan.. Baby Ann is the only motivation to me! If not her, I think I will be very easy collapse.

Well, there is nothing much for baby Ann updates as she enjoy her life very much. Living happily with her milk, her new toy which is her hand, haha.. yeah.. her hand. She can raise up her hand high, stare at it, and play with it for quite long of time. Will update the photo later as I have no time to take her photo this few days.

14 weeks... whats new?

• Need to start thinking of age appropriate toys that will help keep baby entertained, as well as help baby learn.
• Good toys for babyies this age would include rattles, crinkly toys, noise makers, toys they can hold with their hand, but that are big enough that they can’t swallow them. Remember, anyhing that could fit through a toilet paper roll could be dangerous for baby
• Keep toys away from baby that are small, sharp, or have little pieces that may break off. Remember that everything that makes it in baby’s hand will probably make it into her mouth at this point, so don’t let her play with stuffed animals or other toys that have glued on eyes, noses, etc.

Developement Milestone..

• Able to raise up on their arms by now.
• some that can move their upper body with their arms might actually learn how to do the “army crawl”, where they use their arms to move themselves around the house.

What to concern at 14 weeks..

Where did the wiggle worm come from!? For some reason, baby now just won’t lay still when you are trying to change her diaper or trying to get her dressed. You might be finding it hard to place your baby on her changing table, and accomplish the diaper change in just a few seconds. The more frustrated you get, the more humorous your baby will probably find it.
Remember that your baby is just learning and growing. At this point it is probably best to make sure you are using straps on your changing table, to keep the baby from falling off. If you do not have straps, try placing baby in the middle of a large bed or on the floor when you are changing him. At least then if she is moving around, you know she won’t fall off and get hurt. Never leave your baby alone and unattended however while changing (or any other time) unless she is on the floor and can’t get hurt.

Our Sunday

At 11am today, Baby Ann’s grandma brings good news to me which enlighten my day very much. My little girl able to poo at last after 3 days of waiting. Pity Baby Ann! MIL said baby Ann is a bit heaty as there are some rashes formed at her forehead.
Planning to boil some barli and mix it with milk to her tonight. Hope she will get well soon.

Hubby and me is wondering whether should we change baby Ann’s milk powder. If the answer is YES, then what milk powder should we change to? And is the new milk powder suitable for baby Ann..!? Anyway, we need to make decision.

Hubby and I spend a day with baby Ann yesterday as it was a Sunday. Baby Ann enjoy her morning bath in the beautiful Sunday morning, yes.. she likes to bath.. from her face expression, can see that she enjoy her morning bath very much. After bath bath, baby Ann play by herself , she keep “ ooo…gu…aaa..” , this is her language which she need people respond to her in the same language as well. Of coz, by now…3 months and 1 weeks old, baby Ann start to practice her rollover skill. But she still not able to manage the skill yet, its ok, Baby.. you will get it done very soon! Mummy and Daddy is always there to support you J .

At evening, I dress up baby Ann again.. yeah, we are going back to gong gong n po po’s house. But baby Ann is so sleepy, I am too bad to waking her up.. haha.
At gong gong house, baby Ann feel unfamiliar there and she always need me to be with her else she will show crying face. Its ok, mummy will bring baby Ann go back there more frequent. On the way back from gong gong house, Ann falls in sleep as she is too tired. That’s our Sunday!

Poo Poo Diary

I dunno why, mummy keep on feeding water to me these days. I dun like to drink water, milk milk is my favourite drink, luckily I have learn a new skill, which is using my little toungue to push out the bottle tits! Mummy is so annoyed by me... ngek ngek!
And I am wondering why mummy keep on repeat the word "mmmk... mmmk..." to me. Well.. I dun care, I continue my sweet dream. But.. suddenly, I feel the urge to have milk milk, so I inform mummy with my sweet crying voice. And yeah yeah.. my milk milk is on the way and ta da.. so fast, mummy is feeding milk milk to me.

while I am happily enjoy my milk milk.. oohh... gosh... i feel there is something coming out... and i can hear daddy and mummy keep on repeating "mmmmk...mmmmmk...." ! And I push..push...sooo...hardly.. i feel my buttocks wet wet and sticky... and I hate that feeling, I shout and shout.. but.. there are still something coming out... I stunt and concentrate to work it out.. and pheww... finally.. my job done! I feel so relieve!
Hehehe... according to mummy, It had been 4 days I never poo poo, no wonder i feel so relieve now. And then.. its mummy turn to clean up me. Now I know why mummy keep on "mmmk..mmmk.." to me. I have learn a new words today... "MMMMK... MMMMK..."!

3 Months Old

So, at 8th April 2009, i am 3 monts old. My cuteness level already reach 9.5/10. Uncles n aunties always like to pinch my cute and chubby cheek. Guess what.. I can finally fit into most of the nice clothes that those adults bought to me during my fullmoon. After months of waiting... finally mummy give me a fashion show today. Mummy keep put on new clothes on me and ask me to post in front of her old W880i camera phone, i wondering will I look pretty inside that old camera phone. Ta da... here photos taken by my mummy.. ermmm... lausy skill...

Back Dated Post: I am 5 weeks old

My new skill...

Hello,everyone, I m back. Okie, I am now officially 4 weeks old! I just have my full moon party last few days.. i was officially a full moon baby! And I got lots of ang pows and some gold chains. Thanks to grandma,yeh yeh, po po,gong gong and last but not least uncles and aunties! Most importantly,thanks to my daddy and mummy for organize such a fun party to me.

In the meantime, I learned to make some new faces, wanna see? You have to see!

Hubby was complaining to me that our little princess has no interest to smile smile to him. I wonder Ann got her daddy complaining. And finally, princess Ann have so much fun time with her daddy. The laughter of both of them attract me from my dream last nite. Baby Ann play with daddy and laugh like never been before.

Baby Ann has no appetite lately. She likes to sleep so much untill forgot ger milk milk time. I always have to wake her up to remind her its her milk milk time. I wonder is that normal to her. the good news is she get to poo poo 2 days straight.. hehehe..

Back Dated Post : Hello World!!

Pheeewwww! Finally, after 11 long hours in labour, at 1PM...8th Jan 2009, mummy managed to push me out into this world! But hey, everything is so bright! It’s alright though, I can finally see mummy and daddy after 9 months, hehehe. I know daddy has been taking photos of my pretty face (ahem), I’m sure mummy post it here for everyone to see.
